A video and a favourite song

As I'm sorting out my holiday pictures, I wanted to share somthing with you:

When I was little, a song called "Levende lys" was one of my very favourite songs. My granmother had it on a cassette by Hanne Krogh, which is one of our most known and loved folk artists. I only remember singing the very last chorus, and I think I mostly loved it because it reminded me of my gran.

Now, as a young child I didn't much know or understand what the song was about. In hindsight one can easily see that as the song was written around 1980, it clearly refers to the cold war and the years after World War 2.

To a certain degree the song might still be relevant today. Anyway, here is the video I made, if you care to check it out:

(The song was written by one of all greatest revue artists of all times, and featured in his varity show by the same name. The original version can be found here: https://youtu.be/ykPI4p8fQYA )
